Practice Areas
Understanding people, not just diagnoses.
People rarely experience psychological difficulties that fit neatly into one category. Rather than focusing on labels alone, I work collaboratively to understand the unique experiences, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to the challenges you are facing.
More Than a List of Conditions
Many therapy websites include a long list of every condition they treat. Whilst this can sometimes be helpful, I believe it can also be misleading. Psychological difficulties rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety may sit alongside perfectionism, trauma, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem. Depression may be influenced by burnout, grief, neurodivergence or longstanding ways of coping.
Focusing only on a diagnosis can sometimes overlook the individual experiences that have shaped the difficulties you are facing.
Rather than asking whether you fit a particular label, my approach begins by understanding you as a whole person. Together, we develop a shared understanding of your experiences, identify the factors maintaining your difficulties and create a personalised plan that supports meaningful and lasting change.
You don't need to know exactly what is "wrong" before seeking support. If your emotional wellbeing, relationships or quality of life are being affected, therapy may be helpful.

Not sure if I can help?
If you're unsure whether your concerns fit within one of these areas, you're very welcome to get in touch. Therapy begins with understanding your individual experiences, not simply matching you to a diagnosis. An initial consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your needs and decide whether we're the right fit to work together.
